' An anticyclone has continued to cover the Dominion, its centre at present extending across the far northern portion while pressures are progressively low to the south. Winds have consequently been mainly from soma westerly quarter and mostly light, but hare freshened somewhat in parts of the Cook and Foveaux Straits areas.
