The touring Australian women's cricket team beat Surrey by 103 runs. Scores are: Australia 222 for nine, declared (Miss Holmes 55, Mrs. Peden 31, Miss Deane 45 not out; Miss Hide three for 48, Miss Turner four'for 26). Surrey 119 (Miss Child 25, Miss Hide 26; Miss Flaherty five for 31). A crowd of 5000 watched the match.
