LOCAL MANAGEMENT
, The weekly meeting of the Wellington Football Association management committee was held last night. Mr. W. B. Hicks presided. A complaint was received from the Hospital Club of the late start of ths match at Porirua last Saturday between Hospital and Seatoun.'" The match was to start at 2.30 but >owing to the late arrival of the Seatoun team it did not start until 3 o'clock. It was pointed out that four of the Hospital players also had to go out from Wellington and had arrived on time. The referee also complained of the late start. , The committee thought that the Seatoun team had valid reasons for its lateness, and that, some of its members probably had long distances to travel. The Onslow Club wrote withdrawing its third division team from the competition. The committee expressed regret that it could not accede to ths Onslow Club's request for a refund of a proportion of entry fees. H. Laracy, of the Marist Club, was granted a transfer from Senior A to junior A. A request from the Jewish Social. Club for the use of the Kilbirnie Stadium for a Sunday game was declined.
It was arranged that a team from R.M.S. Rangitiki will play an Institute team at the Kilbirnie Stadium on Saturday.
