AUCKLAND, This Day.

Entering the premises of the Walnut Butter Company, in New North Road, last night, burglars disregarded the large office safe but carried out a small safe hidden behind curtains in the manager's office and containing £200. Working under the electric light in the factory, they cut open the back of the safe extracted £150, mostly in £5 and £1 notes. Cheques representing about £50 were left behind
