"The Chancellor, Herr Hitler, stands at the head of German art, not only as patron but as its greatest master," declared the Governor, Herr Adolf Wagner, at 'he opening of the Munich art festival. "England is aware ;that Herr Hitler has painted several pleasant water-colours, but has not suspected that si'ch an ambitious claim could be based on them."
