CANADIAN WAR SUPPLIES
CONTRACTS TO BE WATCHED

OTTAWA, July 16.
Implementing a promise made in the House of Commons that no undue profits would be made out of war supplies, the Prime Minister, Mr. W. R. MacKenzie King, announced that a committee of experts will scrutinise all contracts in connection with the.1 35,000,000 dollars defence programme.
