OBITUARY

MR. P. ATHEA

Mr. P. Athea, a highly-esteemed member of the-staff of the "Evening Post," aiia head of the stereotype department, collapsed at his work yesterday morning, and died on the way to the Hospital. Last Monday Mr. Athea completed twenty-one years of service with "The Post," and ne had previously served in the stereotype department of "The Press," Christchurch, for twenty-two years. He was 60 years of age. He leaves a widow and three sons—Messrs Horace and Ronald Athea; who live in Wellington, and Roy Athea, who is at present in England.
