NEW YORK, June 24.

Mr. Bernard Shaw has cabled the Works Progress Association's organisation, from whose theatrical projects 2818 of the personnel were dismissed by the Federal Government, saying:

"Of course the first thing they curtail is American culture. Congress needs drastic lynching. Those who vote for barbarism should perish by, it."
