SUCCESSFUL INGLESIDE
! The Wellington Caledonian, Society held a successful ingleside recently, the hall being crowded. The floor was in excellent order for dancing.; Mr. W. A. Blair acted as M.C. During the'evening songs were sung by Mr. Halvorson ("Come, Sing to Me" and. "Rose in the Bud"), Mrs. Hubbard ("Mighty Lak' a Rose" and "Rose Marie"), and Master D. Young ("Where'er You Walk" and "Smilin* [Thru"). Exhibition dances1 were given as follows: Seann triubhais and Highland fling, Misses Phyllis Marsh, Berle McCJymont, and Joan Kerr; Reel o' Tulloch and Highland Reel. Misses Peggy Tovey, Peggy McKinnpn, Nancy McDonald, and Leah Kerr; Irish hornpipe and jig, Miss Joy Vardey. The accompaniments were played' by Pipe-Major C. Stewart, Pipe-Sergeant W.. Smith, Mr. A. Barclay, Mrs.. Me-. Gowan, and Mrs. H. McWhinnie. The members of the executive of the Wel-lington-Hawke's Bay Pipe Band Centre were present during the evening a* guests. .. •
