. The Bank of Now Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office as at close of business this week:-VThe market for wethers is steady. The market for ewes is depressed owing to absence of demand. The market for Jambs is quiet and unchanged. Weaker values are ruling for chilled beef owing lo lack of demand. Trade generally has fallen off.

B's 6 7-8 dto 7d, 4's 6 5-8 dto 6 7-Bd, seconds 7d to 7Jd; chilled hinds, sjd to 53d. fores 4d to '4.1 d. Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated June 18:—Frozen meat quotations unaltered. The market is quiet.
