MR. SAVAGE ON MIGRATION
PURCHASES FROM DOMINIONS

United Press As_oclatlon—By Electric/ Tclosraph—Copyright (Received June 18, 10.1S a.m.) LONDON, June 17. The New Zealand Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, attended a meeting of the Overseas Settlement Board, Lord Hartington, Parliamentary UnderSecretary for Dominions Affairs, presiding.
In the course of discussion of migration Mr. Savage frankly pointed out that as long as Britain restricted purchases of Dominion produce it was of no iise planning to send out more people to raise more of that produce.
Interviewed by the Australian Associated Press agency, Mr. Savage said that nothing concrete had emerged from the discussions, which were purely exploratory.
