SIR SQUIfcE SPRIGGE

LONDON, June 17.

Tha death has occurred of sU Squire Sprigge, editor of "The Larf ret."

Sir Squire Sprigge, M_A„ M.D., 8.5., F.R.C.P.. F.R.C.S., was borh in 1860 and educated at Uppingham, Calus College, Cambridge, and St. George's Hospital. Since 1892 he had been on the staff of "The Lancet." and latterly, he was editor. He was chairman of the Society of Authors from 1910 to 1913. He has published works on medicine and public relations, medical education, etc. He was twice married, and was knighted in 1921
