EVACUATION PROPOSAL

His Majesty's Government is pr<* pared to consider approaching th« Spanish Government with a. view to arranging the evacuation from Spain of women imprisoned m Madrid; This statement was made by the Foreign Secretary in the House of Commons in reply to a member who questioned him on the numbers-and conditions of women incarcerated in the San Rafael and Carcel de 1* Ventas prisons.
