WRESTLING ON SATURDAY.

"Why did Steve Savage, recognised as one of the world's greatest wrestlers, leave New Zealand last season after he had had only two bouts? This intriguing question arose out of last year's wrestling activities, and hundreds of enthusiasts south of Auckland have wondered what sort of a wrestler he is. The question will be answered at Wellington on Saturdaynight, when Savage will meet Tony Felice, the big Italian wrestler, at the Town Hall. The bout will beheld under the auspices of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand .Wrestling and Athletic Club - (Inc.). : < After Savage's first bout last year, when he made quick work of Hank Oswald, the Auckland Town Hall,' proved-far too small to hold the crowd: which .'wanted to see him in action /against Earl McCready. The latter contest-proved to be one of the most controversial: ever held in the Dominion, and no one has yet decided where the fault, if any, lay. Felice had a highly successful season in Honolulu before coming to New Zealand, and is a tough and experienced wrestler. An all-professional programme will be completed by a bout of three ten-minute rounds between S. Lack and C. Lowe, and one of four ten-minute rounds between Peter Venter (South Africa) and ,"Snowy." Bartlett-.CWellington), ,
