PIONEER CLUB

WOMEN'S INSTITUTE CENTRE

At a recent meeting of .the Women's Institute Centre, at the Pioneer Club, Mrs. W. J. Ross (vice-president) presided over a very fair gathering' of members. Those present 'were from most of the nearby institutes.

Mrs. W. R. Davidson was the guest for the afternoon, and gave an interesting travel talk, about her journeying to out of the way parts of Denmark, Sweden, and Germany. Miss L. van Staveren also entertained the members with recitations, and a' hearty vote of thanks was accorded the ladies. Afternoon tea was served.
