A meeting of the Coastal Towns branch of the Plunket Society was presided over by Mrs. Gray (president). A pleasant meeting was held at Paremata to welcome Miss Anstice, who has been appointed district nurse. Miss Welsh, the Plunket nurse, in her welcoming remarks, said she hoped Miss Anstice would be as happy in the district work as she herself was in the Plunket work,. Some apprehension has arisen over the appointment, and the committee wished it to be understood that Miss Welsh is continuing the Plunket work for. the coastal towns, this being entirely separate from the district nurse's work.
