DEVONPORT FERRY PROFITS.
A net profit of £ 19,022, a\ decrease of £625 on the previous year, is shown in the accounts of the Devonport Steam Ferry Company, Auckland, for the year ended April 30. The dividend for the year is unchanged at 5 per cent., absorbing £7500. Allowance for income tax, writing down shares, and the cost of the Milford swimming pool requires £10,168, leaving £2343 to be carried forwarsf, against £?39 brought into the accounts.
