CAR HALTED BY CROWDS

(Received May 20, 9.30 a.m.) H LONDON, May 19.

Crowds at Victoria Station awaiting the departure of the King and Queen for Portsmouth for the naval review broke the police cordon and brought the Hoyal car to a standstill. Som« people climbed on the running-boards. The police dispersed the demonstrators and the car proceeded. Their Majesties and the Princess Elizabeth, who were inside the car, .were obviously delighted, and smiled and waved to the crowd. '
