METHODIST HARRIER CLUB

The Wellington Methodist Harrier Club held an enjoyable run from the Webb Street Methodist Church on Saturday afternoon. The thirty-three runners, in four packs under the leadership of R. Ingram, J. McKinney, r> Mercer, and W. Baker, followed a course of about seven miles. The runin was won by R. Kimmins, with W. Kelly second and G. Harris third.

Before the run reference was made to the loss sustained by the club by the death of Mr. E. L. Howe, who had been a vice-president of the club from its inception, except for last season, when he was president. Members stood in silence as a mark of respect.

Next Saturday's run Is to be from the Trinity Methodist Church, Kewtown.
