camp. The schools had supported the camp and it might interest board members to know that £128 11s 8d had been raised -in 1932, £307 10s 8d in 1933, £237 19s 9d in 1934, £232 3s in 1935, and £286 6s lid in 1936. That was a total of £1193 in five years, or an average of £238 12s a year. Great credit was ,due to the children and their parents for that support, and the schools should give the pupils an opportunity to support the memorial camps., The camps that hadfbeen in use had been of great benefit to the children selected to attend them, and they had not interfered in,-any way with school work because a staff of competent teachers was provided for instruction in the camps.
It was agreed that all schools should be urged to give pupils an opportunity to contribvite to the fund.
A decision to donate £5 5s to the King George V Memorial Fund was made by last night's meeting of the management committee^ of the Wellington Football Association.
