EMBARGO ON ORANGES
DUNEDIN CHAMBER'S VIEW
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. The Dunedin Chamber of Commerce resolved last eyening to advocate the removal of the embargo on Australian oranges. "If the original object of the, embargo was to bargain for reciprocal | trade, particularly in potatoes, then as a bargaining weapon it has failed entirely," stated the resolution. "Its retention therefore is no longer justified, particularly as it jeopardises the [health of the community."
