ONE INJURED

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) • THAMES, This Day. The trading scow, Yvonne was totally wrecked at Waikawau Bay, on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula at 8 o'clock last night. The master, Captain Standish, was drowned. j The rest of the crew were saved, but one man is seriousjly injured. The scow was evidently sheltering. There was a heavy easterly blow at the time and a big sea was running. The bay is inaccessibly situated and the cree?:s on the road were flooded, making transport difficult. The police at Coromandel have the matter in hand. The master's body has not yet been recovered.
