SOUTH AFRICAN WAR VETERANS

The Wellington South African War Veterans' Association will hold its next card evening on Saturday, at the clubrooms, 125 Lambton Quay. It is the committee's endeavour to please everyone, and the games will be arranged to fit in with transport facilities. A pleasant evening is assured old and new patrons. Special Coronation prizes have been given. Special Coronation services, at which the forms approved by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York were used, were held at 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. in St. James' Church, Lower Hutt on Wednesday. The morning service was attended by a very large congregation. The Rev. H. E. K. Fry conducted both services.
