HIGH SCHOOL GOVERNORS
- The present Board of Governors of the Hutt Valley High School will go out of office next month. Messrs. C. E. Dowland and J. S. Hunter have been re-elected by the parents and Mr. Spencer, also representing the parents, will take the place of Mr. J. B. Grey, who did not seek re-election. The Education- Board has reappointed Messrs. W. V. Dyer, Jas. StonehoXise, and P. Robertson. j The two Government representatives have not yet been appointed. The present members are Messrs. H. G. Teagle and J. Kerr. Mr. D. A. Ewen nas been reappointed ;to represent tne? Lower Hutt Borough 'Council. - - A direction was given the Director of Parks and Reserves by the City Council last evening to prepare a plan and an estimate of the cost of formation work for a motor camp on the town belt at Lavaud Street. Newtown Public conveniences are to be erected, from money available from the special loan of 1927, at Balena Bay and Te Aro Park.
