PHARAOH'S GOOD BREEDING

Pharaoh, a member of J. T. Harris. . iThe Sydney report of his win mentions that he gives great promise of developing staying ability next season, and when one. irtudies his pedigree it is seen that this view is based on solid ground. Lady Pym was by Weathervane out of Dame Winkie, who was a half-sister by Winkie to Anitea, the , dam of Rapier, also to Nottava, the dam of Gesture and Miss. Nottava; land Dame Winkie's dam was famous Stepfeldt's daughter Stepka, dam of the Wellington Cup winner Pavlova and half-sister to Elevation. Provocation. Reputation, and to the grandam of Suggestion, Stanchion, Prostration, I etc. Lady Pym's latest foal is a bay L filly by Leighon who is said to be a particularly good looker.
