RELIGION TODAY
ADDRESS BY DR. T. Z. KOO
"Christ Speaks to the Modern Man," was the subject of an address delivered by Dr. T. Z. Koo, secretary of the World Student Christian Movement, to an attentive congregation in the Taranaki Street Wesley Church last night. Whether the Church counted for very much today was a question often asked by the modern man, said Dr. Koo, who answered that the world today was still being, confronted by the claims of Christ. He discussed the meaning of religion in -relation to God, the world, and man. - Both Dr. Koo and the Rev. H. Vf. Newell made pleas for support of the Christian Student movement. The Rev. G. McKenzie presided, and also present on the platform were the Rev. H. W. Newell and the Rev. D. D. Martin. A vote of thanks, proposed by Mr. S. Andrews, was passed enthusiastically.
