Four further cases ,-of infantile paralysis were notified to the Canterbury Medical Officer of Health yesterday. A-positive Case of infantile paralysis, a girl aged 13, has been admitted to the Westland Hospital from Weheka, South Westland; -,
HASTINGS,.May 7.
For the second time this week ■ a case of infantile paralysis has been reported in Hastings, a girl aged 15 -years having' been diagnosed as a positive case. '

A Takapau man, aged 21, was admitted to the Waipuk'urau Hospital yesterday with a paralysed leg. This, is the fifth case in central Hawke's Bay. There has been one'fatal case to date.
