EMPIRE AS ECONOMIC UNIT
LONDON, May 7.
A new aspect, of the Anglo-American trade agreement to be discussed at the Imperial Conference concerns a 1 suggestion from the United States that, instead of separate treaties with each Dominion, the Empire should be treated as an economic unit. It would constitute a new step in.the Empire's constitutional development.
