I'oNDON, May 7.

"The Times," commenting on the exhibition of paintings,; drawings, and sculpture by Empire artists, which was organised by the Royal British Colonial Society of Artists, "says: "The New Zealand paintings come nearest to the British of the slightly old-fashioned variety. Miss A. Elizabeth Kelly's 'Waianakarua' and Mr. Cecil F. Kelly's 'Lyttelton Harbour' may be mentioned."
