■ Coronation Day, the centre'of-imme-diate general interest, is., fast approaching, and throughout the city there are . patriotic emblems .and. a.. general., 'fit of festivity. But even Coronations must recede with time, and when rthe celebrations are over thoughts of the leisure hours ahead will,claim' the attention of many, women ; an| girls. The Y.W.C.A. programme of activities offers scope for pastimes to suit many tastes. Voice pfbauctio.n; ?nd choir singing is a popular addition to this year's programme, M3nd t;r'some vacancies are still available for mem* bers. For the more practical-minded person ,crafts, as a hobby,.w,ill-probably, have greater, appeal. ,Bridge circles for beginners and those mqre advanced in the game have been arranged, and mixed ballroom dancing ,'classes with invitation ..dances will be f held. .;•.. -. ■ ...
