When the Subject will be: 'PRESENT-DAY FULFILMENT. OF PROPHECY PROVING THE BIBLE TO BE THE WORD OF GOD." 'YE HYPOCRITES, YE CAN DISCERN rHE FACE OK THE SKY, BUT CAN _E NOT DISCERN THE SIGNS OF . ' .. THE TIMESr" JJesus in relation to His first coming— Matt. 13:3, Acts'l3:27, Ads 18:23). The object of this" Sunday's Lecture is .o show— . 1. THAT it is clearly revealed in the Scriptures that before Christ : returned to earth certain events would transpire by which those enlightened in the Scriptures would ''SEE 'THE DAY APPROACHING." Hebs. 10: 25, 1 Thess. 5:1-3, Luke 21:28-31, Hab. 2:3). !. THAT some of the events '. which in coming to pass were to herald Christ's return are (a) The decline of the Turkish Era- ■ - pire and particular], Turkey's loss of Palestiue. (Rev. 16:12----15.) (b) Britain's (Tai'shish) occupancy of Palestine. (Ezekiel 35:13.) (c) A preliminary restoration of the scattered nation of Israel to Palestine. (Roms. 11:2, Horns. 11:15, Eze. 37:21-22. Jer. 31:10, Jer. 31:28, Eze. ■36:24, Psa. "102: lfl, Jer. 33:14-15, Luke 21:21, Eze. ' 21:27.) (d) Unprecedented preparation.'for ■war. .Eze. 38:7, Joel 3:1-2 and 9, Rev. 16:14.) THAT as all the prophecies referred to above are being fulfilled at the present time this not only proves that the second coming of Christ is now very imminent1 but it also proves that the Bible" is the' Word of God, for FULFILMENT OF PROPHECY PROVES THE BIBLE TO BE THE WORD OF GOD. (2 Pet. 1:19-21, Deut. 18:21-22, Isa. 46:9-10.) ; N.B. —Reasons will be advanced . why the events referred to in section (2) under a, b, c, and d, are closely related to each ■ other and why their presentday occurrence' plainly indicates- t"hat' the foretold terri-' ble invasion of the ■;. HolyLand is now imminent. (Eze. 38, Dan. 11:40-45, Zech. 14: •2, etc.) "AND THERE SHALL BE SIGNS . . . AND THEN SHALL THEY SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY." (Luke 21:25-27.)
