EMPIRE PARLIAMENTARY CONFERENCE

LONDON, May 6.

The need for maintaining Empire shipping was one of the topics dealt with by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Trade, Dr. E. L. Burgin, at a private session of the Empire Parliamentary Conference. He analysed the problems of keeping trade routes open and the prevention of discrimiiiation against Britain, and indicated ways in which other Empire countries could assist.

The Minister of Agriculture, Mr. W, S. Morrison, outlined Britain's policy to protect her agriculture.
