SHOOTING ACCIDENT

(Special to tho "Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N., This Day. Mr B R. Gardiner, of Eketahuna, has been admitted to the Pahiatua Hospital as a result of a shooting accident, a rifle bullet passing right through his face and coming out near the ear. He is reported to have had a remarkable escape from death, as the bullet just missed his eyes and brain. Details as to how the mishap occurred are not available at present.
