HUTT VALLEY ESPERANTO CLUB
The- weekly meeting of the Hutt Valley Esperanto Club was held last Tuesday at the clubrooms, High Street, when 15 members were present The president, Mr. W. E. Curne, Prided, and after the formal business hadbeen dealt with, a period of intensive instruction was given under the able guidance of Mr. Henri Thorns, at the conclusion of which the instructor expressed his satisfaction at the progress made by members, especially with regard to pronunciation. The president then addressed members on the value of establishing-a correspondence with other countries as an.aid to a better understanding of Esperanto and of mankind, and produced in support of his contention cards written exclusively in Esperanto from England, Australia America, France, Italy, Russia, Holland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Servia, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Japan, Austria, Norway, and Switzerland.
