A better tone developed in Barrier mine shares, Mount Lyeiis, and general investments on the Stock Exchange today. .However, operators exercised caution, resulting in the turnover being below normal.

On: the Melbourne Stock Exchange today there was a better tone in industrials, Barriers and Mount Lyells following on improvement overseas. Bonds were firm.
