HIS MAJESTY'S STATI COACH ♦ ♦ ♦■♦ This magnificent State Coach was designed by Sir William Chambers; the Paintings on the panels being executed by Cypriani, and was finished in 1761. It cost nearly £8,000, weighs 4 tons, and is drawn by eight State Horses, It has been used by each successive Sovereign since George IV at their respective Coronations, and on the occa« sions of their opening Parliament in Person, except during the period of Queen Victoria's widowhood.
