HOLIDAY PAY DISPUTE
(By Telegraph—l'ress Assqeiation.) AUCKLAND, April 27. Numerous complaints have been received by the secretary of the Auckland Dairy Factory Employees' Union j concerning the refusal of companies to pay. workers for their annual holidays. The companies consider that they are not liable, but the union claims that the 1935 award gwes the men the right to holiday pay. The Auckland union I claims that its case is different from the other dairy factory employees' unions owing to a specific provision in the 1935 award.
