INCREASE TO £600
PARLIAMENTARY SALARIES
REPORTED INTENTION
LONDON, April 20,
Following complaints from members during the debate on the Bill to increase Ministerial salaries, the Prime Minister, Mr. Stanley Baldwin, according to the "Daily Herald," intends to recommend that salaries of members of the House of Commons be increased from £400 to £600 a year.
