MR. ROBERTS'S ELECTION
There was a margin of seven votes only- in favour of Mr. J. Roberts's election yesterday as national president of- the New Zealand Labour Party. Nine counts on. the preferential system of voting were necessary, and the final result was:-Mr. . T. Roberts, 232; Mr, J. Thorn, M.P., 225.
