FIRE AT MIDNIGHT

Caused by the overheating of' an. electric iron, a fire to .which the, Central Fire Brigade was summoned, at 12.1 a.m. today caused slight damage in a photographic studio occupied by G. W. Perry, in a building owned byAubrey Gualter and Co. at 149-151 Featherston Street. The fire spread from the table on which it started to the adjacent window framing but the damage > was not extensive. Water which percolated to the ground floor below the fire caused slight damage to the crockery , and glassware stock of Aubrey Gualter and Co.
