WIN FOR KELBURN
Considerable interest, was shown. in the Anal of the junior champion of champions' singles of the Wellington Bowling Centre . yesterday . afternoon when the; Kelburn and Seatoun club champions met to contest the honour. The competition, which is a new innovation, was brought into being through - the generosity of .Mr. L. Smith, who; gave the "Lou Smith Cup" to the centre, to encourage junior players. Both Mr. Smith and Mrs. Smith-took a. keen interest in the contest between the junior champions of the clubs, and were present during the final stages.of the competition. Play commenced at 10 a.m. yesterday, and at 4.30 the Seatoun andKel-. burnv'representatives met.to contest the final; Smith, of Kelburn, had the advantage from-the start, but Williams, of Seatoun,1 made the result doubtful until the; last.
