1 The-Sutt Club reported .'that at its annual, meeting it was" decided to, rename the club: the. Raridwicl: District Rugby League.Football Club,.and,also, that the"colours be changed from.red and white to royal blue- and, gold: The reaspii for :the Changes was due-to the fact that the majority of the ,club's playsrs and supporters 'were" residents' of the Randwick district and, the-yplayr. ing ■ ground was also -in the. district.. The' board sanctioned the . renaming ".pi the.!club, and- also, the change-; of colours. . : •: ■ ■
It was decided to set April 24 aside as club day and to open the competitions on May 1. ' . Advice was received that the Auck-^ land Rugby League had granted the use of. Carlaw Park to the New Zealand Football Association for, the Soccer Test match New Zealand v. England. , It was decided to invite the Auckland representative team to visit Wellington on that date.
