TRIAL GAME
ASSOCIATION TEAMS
Teams to play a trial match at the Porirua Hospital ground on Monday afternoon next have been chosen by Mr. George F. Aers, sole, selector of senior teams for the Wellington Football Association, who has a number of players in training for the visit of the English; amateurs this season. The non-inciusion of some well-known men in the trial teams is explained by the fact til'st they had made other arrangements for Easter Monday before the match was proposed. The elevens are as follows:— .
A Team.—Turkington; Salisbury, Haines; Reid, Boyes, Cocks: R. Quirk, Heath, Leslie, McKenzie, Gendall.. B Team.—Parton; Miles, Hazel; Hindle, Longbottom, Hanlon; Stewart, Ward, Janes, Gates, Woods. Replacements.—Nichol, Smith (Petone), T. Graham (Petone).
A special bus will leave Bunny Street at 12.30 p.m., and the kick-off will take place at 1.30 p.m.
