Owing to "a case of infantile paralysis being reported from Shannon, the Wellington-Education Boaril, acting on the advice of the Health Department, has directed,, that the Shannon School shall be closed forthwith and that secondary: school pupils frorn^Shanrion who are > attending the Levin District High School shall be excluded as from today.
