BOWLING AT OTAKI
A bowling tournament, was held at Otaki at the weekend, ' when rinks from as far • distant as Carterton took part. A very enjoyable day was spent, writes the Otaki correspondent of "The Post." The semi-final was fought out by two Takaro rinks, while the winners played Otaki in the final. The latter rink was 2 up till the last head, when Takaro drew 3 to win.
In a pennant match at Paekakariki on Saturday between . Otaki and Paekakariki each side scored a win, but the points were in favour of Otaki.
