THE FEBRUARY MASSACRE

LONDON, March 22.

The Abyssinian Legation in London makes the following announcement concerning the incident at Addis Ababa a month ago when natives were slaughtered:—

"Among the fine flower of Ethiopia* enlightened people and intellectuals who were butchered during three terrible days in Addis Ababa in a massacre perpetrated by orders of the Italian authorities to wreak' collective vengeance and uproot all the hopes of the Ethiopian people were Fekade Selassie, son of the Foreign Minister, Mr. Herouy, also Joseph and Benjamin Martin, sons of the Ethiopian Minister in London. These three had studied in England."
