NEW TRIAL WANTED
Convicted by a Hamilton jury on three; charges >of indecently■assaulting a girl at Frariktbti ' Junction in June and August of last year, Alfred John Elmore (Mr. A. Hall Skelton) applied in the Court of Appeal today for a new trial. The -application was heard by the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers), Mr. Justice Ostler, Mr. Justice Smith, Mr. Justice Johnston, and Mr. Justice Fair, and decision was reserved. Mr. C. H. Taylor appeared for the Crown.
