{United Tress Association—By Electric Teiegrapli—Copyright.) ; PARIS, March 19. 'Three hundred photographs of Sig--11 or Mussolini were found in Madame do la Ferriere's Paris flat., which the police searched for documents likely to throw light on the shooting of the Comte de Chambrun, formerly French Ambassador to Rome, at the Gare dv Nord railway station. A private diary containing, it is understood, references to Signor and the Comte de Chambrun, was also found. Police state that Madame de la Ferriere was annoyed at Italian officials who withdrew her permitJallowing her to reside in Italy, for which reason she blamed the Comte de Chambrun. The newspaper "Intransigeant" states that she attempted to commit suicide while in Rome. An earlier cable stated that it was alleged that Madame de la Ferriere told the police: "The Comte de Chambrun caused me to lose the love of a man who is too well known to be mentioned. I confided certain things to the Comte, trusting to his friendship that he would not repeat them. He broke my confidence and lost me the love of a man who really loved me." A friend said that Madame de la Ferriere and the Comte had known each other for some time. They met the first, time in Rome, where Madame de la Ferriere went a year ago as a representative of a Paris evening newspaper, to obtain interviews, of which she obtained a number, including one with Signor Mussolini.
The "newspaper "Matin." Paris, reported Madame de la Ferriere as saying: "The Comte de Chambrun made me lose the affection of a great Italian statesman."
