When the Wellington waterside workers received their back pay on Thursday many took the opportunity to contribute generously to an appeal for funds for the Free Ambulance, which is frequently called in when accidents occur on the wharves. . Buckland, Paremp.ta, proceeds collection at Paremata, £7, Mrs. E. W. Wise Mayoress. Eastbourne, proceeds street day at Eastbourne, £6 10s lOd.
