Mrs. B. Grumitt, Wanganui, is visiting Wellington for the races and is the guest of her sister, Mrs. J. Saundcrs, 22 Hobson Street.
Mrs. W. Clayton and Miss Cameron (Lower Hutt) and Mr. and Mrs. Colin Clayton (Karori) left by car today for a tour of the north, where they will proceed as far as Russell. Before returning home they will spend Easter at the Chateau.
Mrs. Higgins, Otaki,, and her two daughters will leave by the Rangitiki for a visit to England, and expect to be away for about six months.
Mrs. Alex Lawson, who has been spending a holiday in Tlmaru, has returned to Wellington.
Mrs. W. Nimmo, Pigeon Bay. is visiting Wellington and the Wairarapa.
Miss Halmai Loughnan, Christchurch, is paying a short visit to Wellington.
Mrs. R. S. Chadwick will leave Auckland in the first week of April by the Awatea, and will connect with the Orford in Sydney on the first stage of a world tour.
Mrs. S. Berryman, Lower Hutt, is visiting her sister, Miss Flood, at Timaru.
Mrs. C. Clabburn, who has been overseas for the last six months, has now returned to Wellington, and is at present staying' at Silverstream.
Miss Pat Russell, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. R. Douglas, Hurleyville, Palea.
Mrs. K. Duncan is a Wellington visitor to Auckland and is staying at the Station Hotel. .
Mrs. M. Hailwood, Wadestown, who will leave by the Rangitiki tomorrow for England, has had several farewell parties given in her honour, including one at the residence of Mrs. J. C. Adams, Northland; Mrs. C. Lowden, Wadestown, and Mrs. R. K. Grieve,, Pirie Street. j
Mrs. C. H. Crump, Dargaville, is paying a holiday visit to Wellington. Mrs E Hanson, who has been visit-; ing her daughter, Mrs. E. Lynne Barker, Rotorua, has returned to Wellington.
Miss C. Parkinson, Ohauiti, is visiting Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. George Wensley and their daughter, who have been spending a holiday in Wellington, have returned to their home in Blenheim.
Mrs. S. Steele, Tauranga, is making an extended stay in Wellington.
Mrs. Skeet, Papamoa, Te Puke, arrived in Wellington today for a month s holiday. Mrs. D. Kay, Wellington, who with her small son has been the guest of her mother, Mrs. T. Morgan, Rotorua, has returned,home.
Mrs. G. Mac Murray, Remuera, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned to Auckland accompanied by Archdeacon Mac Murray.
Mrs "Kebbell and Miss Kirkcaldie, Levin and Mrs. C. G. Holdsworth, Gisborrie. are.-guests.'at the Royal Oak Hotel.
Mrs. Cyril West, Mount Maunganui, is a Tauranga visitor to Wellington.
